Ex-Norwich City boss, Alex Neil held talks with Preston yesterday about their vacancy for first team manager according to Lancashire Post
The departure of Simon Grayson for Sunderland has led to the vacancy and there were reportedly more than 30 applicants for the job with many already in employment.
Neil was photographed at Deepdale yesterday and held talks, a sighting that saw his odds tumble to 1/8 with the bookies. However, the Post understands that this meeting was part of an ‘ongoing process’ to find the best man for the job.
