Norwich City will travel to Chelsea on Wednesday hoping that they can put in another stellar performance, while keeping their fingers crossed that Chelsea have another off day.

Daniel Farke spoke with the media at Colney on Tuesday lunchtime about the game and what sort of side he would play.

Tom Trybull is still unavailable with back trouble But could be available in a week or so, if his treatment is effective.

“He has some injections for his back, and he probably won`t be available for the weekend either” Farke said

“He has to have injections for a few days and if everything goes fine he should be in training in the middle of next week. But if the injections don`t work we`ll have to wait and see and look at other options.”

That doesn`t sound great and hopefully it`s nothing too serious becaus Super Tom is a big part of our game. He`ll be missed at Stamford Bridge.

Marley Watkins is fit again, while Cameron Jerome is on the verge of completing a £1.5m move to Derby County.

While plenty of fans have speculated on social media about the sort of team he will play, Farke says he won`t make too many changes.

“You always have to think ahead to the next games,” he said. “The situation isn`t similar to when we played against Arsenal. Then there were a few weeks in a row when you played three games in a week.

“Now, though, we`ll just have the one week with three games and when you`re in good shape that shouldn`t be a problem. But we will watching carefully and we want to be as successful as possible.

“For example, Mario Vrancic has been sick this week, but is available. Alex Tettey is pretty tired so we have to make a decision on him, while Grant Hanley has a few problems with his calves – so I can`t see all three in the starting line-up. But I can`t see too many changes.”

I would personally play as strong a team as possible to take the game to Chelsea. Why not? We`ve got nothing to lose and we`re live on BBC One.

A cup run rarely does a team harm and in our position, it could be a shot in the arm to turn over the Champions, who won`t be fielding Ross Barkley as he signed too late for the deadline of the first tie.

Shame.
