Jacob Murphy has been called up to the England U21 squad as a late replacement for Izzy Brown of Chelsea, currently on loan with Huddersfield Town.
It’s a first U21 call up for Jacob, who has previously represented his country at U18, U19 and U20 levels.
Murphy joins up with Andy Boothroyd’s squad for the upcoming away friendlies with Germany (Friday) and Denmark (next Monday.)
Jacob has 10 goals and 6 assists for the Canaries this season and this call-up is thoroughly deserved.
