Carlo Nash has today added more fuel to the speculation that he is moving to Carrow Road as third choice keeper.

The 39 year old, recently released by Stoke has been tweeting to the Stoke fans:

“Thanks to all the Stokies for all your kind messages.”

“I loved my time at Stoke and good luck for the new season, except of course vs. #ncfc”

With Jed Steer moving to Aston Villa, City need a third choice keeper in case of emergencies and Nash`s level of experience fits the bill.

He has previously played for Crystal Palace, Manchester City and Stoke before joining Everton and then returning to Stoke to perform the third choice role.

Reports last week also suggested that newly promoted Cardiff City were keen on Nash but his most recent tweet suggests that a deal to move to Carrow Road is very much on the cards.
