Norwich City have recalled Rocky Bushiri early from his season-long-loan at Blackpool due to a lack of playing time.
Rocky only joined the Canaries in last summer and, clearly one for the future, he was soon loaned out to Simon Grayson’s Blackpool in League One for some first team experience.
That’s where the problem came though because he only made 4 appearances for the Tangerines due to the form of others and he now seems set for another loan move, this time back to Belgium.
Grayson, talking to the Blackpool Gazette said “Rocky Bushiri has been recalled back to Norwich and will go to Belgium on loan, We thank him for the bits he did for us, it didn’t quite work out that one.”
Despite his parent club’s issues at centre back this season, it seems clear that the plan for Rocky is to send him out for much needed first team experience rather than to just keep him around the squad at Colney, just in case.
That makes sense because training is a world away from actually playing games.
