Norwich City are keen on FC Union Berlin centre back Toni Leistner (pictured right) according to the Berliner Kurier via the EDP

The lad is 26 and described as one of FC Union Berlin’s ‘prized assets’ by the EDP. He is out of contract in 2018 with the report from Germany suggesting that a fee of around £3.5m could be enough to persuade FC Union Berlin to cash in.

Daniel Farke has already signed Christoph Zimmermann and Mario Vrancic from his homeland and it would make perfect sense for the club to look in markets that are well known to the City Head Coach.

German players generally all speak English, which helps ease transition to a new country and we saw only too well last season at Huddersfield that German based players can adapt very quickly to the physicality of the Championship.

This one sounds like it has some legs.
