Norwich City are one of four English clubs to have watched Real Valladolid striker Jaime Mata reports pucelafichajes.com

Fulham, Sheffield Wednesday and Bournemouth, as well as a number of Spanish clubs have all reportedly visited the Jose Zorrilla Stadium to see Mata this season, with a view to a January transfer.

It seems that the 29 year old striker is out of contract in the summer but a fee of around one million euros could persuade his club to sell now, rather than lose him for nothing in the summer.

He`s 6`1″ tall and has 18 goals in 21 appearances this season – a phenomenal return that has attracted the attention of plenty of suitors as the lad appears to be in the form of his life.

This sounds like a very positive link BUT as ever, there are richer clubs than us in the hunt. Much may depend on how serious they all are about signing a new striker and how much we can afford. If we sell Pritchard then we may very well be competitive in the market.
