Norwich City are set to sign Lincoln City centre back, Sean Raggett before immediately loaning him back to Lincoln for the season, reports HITC Sport
The 24 year old caught the attention of a host of clubs after signing for the Imps from Dover last year. He made 47 appearances as the Imps won the National League and went on a Cup run to the Quarter finals of the FA Cup, scoring the winning goal against Burnley in round five.
He is widely reported to have a £350k release clause and has been linked with the Canaries for a couple of months now, as he enters the last year of his Lincoln contract.
He’s not young, as such but clearly the Norwich scouts have seen enough in him to recommend him to the Head Coach and Sporting Director.
One for the future it seems after a season gaining experience in League Two.
