Norwich v Brentford: Rate The Players

|

Rate the players returns after a couple of weeks off due to technical reasons – basically, I haven’t had my lap top to hand as often as I’d like.

Anyway, the win over Brentford wasn’t perhaps as impressive as some of the recent victories we have seen, like Forest and Villa in the last seven days to name a couple, but it got the job done and claimed another 3 points.

To my mind, there were a couple of stand out choices for the man of the match award, which the sponsors gave to Emi Buendia.

I thought that Max Aarons had an excellent game as he dealt with Ollie Watkins, for the most part, pretty comfortably. His coolness and confidence on the ball and in tight situations defy his 18 years of age.

For my money though, I would also go with Buendia. I thought that he backed up Aarons well when Brentford were in possession, which they often were, and he went forward well too. His first goal for the club was an absolute peach too as he stroked home Timm Klose’s route one pass.

The technique he showed to finish that was exceptional and deserves a few watches on YouTube.

Anyway, that’s my two pence worth. Light up the stars to give your ratings.
