Norwich Watching Belgian Striker

|

Norwich City are set to battle Leeds United in January for the signature of Belgian striker, Renaud Emond according to a report in today’s edition of
The Sun.

The tabloid red top are carrying a story suggesting that the Canaries and Leeds are both keen on the Standard Liege striker. Emond is 28-years-old and Captains Liege, so far this season he has 7 goals in 18 appearances.

Goals have been hard to come by for the Canaries on their return to the Premier League although when actually given chances, it’s not like Teemu Pukki is fluffing his lines. He continues to be one of Europe’s most in-form strikers due to his 10 goals in 10 Euro 2020 qualifying games for Finland and 8 goals so far for Norwich.

At 28, Emond is also a little older than perhaps our recent demographic for players but needs must and The Sun reckon that an offer of around £3m would make a deal happen.

Do Norwich Need Another Striker?

No

Add him to the list for January.
