Former Norwich City loan striker Dani Pacheco has joined Atletico Madrid on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old Liverpool striker does not not feature in Kenny Dalglish’s plans according to the Mirror, and will spend the season with the La Liga newcomers.
The Reds confirmed the news in a simple statement on their website this afternoon, and confirmed that the little man will be with the La Liga club until the end of June 2012.
Spanish U21 international Pacheco made six appearances for the Canaries towards the end of last season scoring twice – the final goal in the 5-1 rout of Ipswich Town at Portman Road in April, and this classy finish against Coventry on the final day.
