Bradford are interested in taking Norwich City`s Sean Raggett on loan for the remainder of the season says Press Association Football writer, Nick Mashiter.

Nick has used his twitter account @nickmashiter to tweet the following this morning:

“Bradford are keen to take Sean Raggett on loan from Norwich next month. Lincoln obviously want him to stay with them #bcafc #ncfc #imps”

Raggett only joined Norwich in the summer from Lincoln and was immediately loaned back to the Imps for the first half of the season, with his loan set to expire in the next few days. He has helped Lincoln to third place in League Two and is very highly regarded there.

The Imps` manager, Danny Cowley has previously suggested that Norwich would like to use Raggett in the third round of the FA Cup but having drawn Chelsea, that might be a baptism of fire to throw the young defender into for his Canary debut.

Cowley was hoping that Norwich might then consider letting Raggett return to Lincoln for another loan, with FA rules stipulating that a player can only play for two clubs in any one season.

Now though, Stuart McCall`s Bradford City are seemingly interested with the Bantams currently sitting fifth in League One and eyeing their own promotion push.

Much will depend on what happens in the transfer window. With Norwich already sanctioning a loan deal for Marcel Franke and speculation now surrounding Russell Martin`s future in Norfolk. I wonder if City would like to keep Raggett in the Norwich squad as a back up should any of Hanley, Klose or Zimmermann become injured.

In around a month from now, we`ll know the answer.
