Rangers have made a bid to sign reported Norwich City target Jordan Jones from Kilmarnock.

The Scottish Sun reported that an initial offer of £350,000 has been made in order to sign the winger, and that would eventually rise to £500,000 with add-ons.

The article also suggests that this offer was rejected at Rugby Park.

The Northern Irish international is highly rated and still has a lot of potential, so I am strongly inclined to think that Kilmarnock will wait for a higher bid. The report also states that they expect to receive at least £1 million for the player.

Norwich were linked with the player a week ago, and after the sale of Alex Pritchard it`s quite evident that Stuart Webber would have enough ammo to fight for this player if he wishes to do so.

This window has been very quiet so far in terms of incomings and links, so it may be possible that Mr Webber is waiting to find a proper home for Steven Naismith before making a move for another winger.
