Relegation still a worry?

Dublin is correct when he says that results from now own are as vital as ever, because we never know which Norwich side is going to turn up from game to game. Will it be the one who got hammered at Colchester or the one who were convincing against Hull? If the ‘Colchester away` team has three or four more turn outs this campaign, then we are not going to get many points and will be looking over our shoulders.

Dublin said: “I think we are not out of it yet. Mathematically we are still there. If we don’t do well in the next five games then we are in trouble, so there is no overlooking that.”

“We haven’t been consistent enough and if you are not consistent in a league this hard, and some teams in this league are very, very good, you are going to end up where we are – in a poor position.”

The 37-year-old looks set to revert to centre back when City take on his former club at The Walkers Stadium. There are fitness doubts over both Jason Shackell and Gary Doherty meaning that – Dublin could even partner youngster Michael Spillane in defence.

No matter what is said, I think we are safe. Something very extraordinary would have to happen for us to finish in the bottom three of this league. Although I am slightly concerned as to how many points we will pick up in the rest of the campaign. With very losable games at home to Ipswich and Southampton, plus three away games – I don`t think there will be many more points racked up. However given our 11 point cushion at present, surely we are safe – aren`t we?
