Colin Lee has said he expects an ‘instant response’ following Millwall’s 4-0 nightmare against Sheffield United by taking on and defeating Southampton on Saturday.

Simon Charlton has launched a scathing tirade the way of Jody Morris after being on the receiving end of an awful two footed tackle by the Millwall player on Saturday.

West Bromwich Albion manager Bryan Robson has ruled out a move by Norwich to set up a loan deal for Riccardo Scimeca. The utility defender/midfielder has been linked to Norwich but Robson has told the player (and Junichi Inamoto) that their future is at the club.

Norwich have again been linked to a loan move for 25 year old Wigan Athletic player David Wright. The defender has only appeared once this season for Wigan.

Dean Ashton has apologised to fans for the horror display losing 4-2 to Luton saying ?Mentally we’ve got to be stronger than that – we just didn’t get our heads round that second goal. For a team like us, that first-half performance was simply not good enough and I feel sorry for the fans tonight. They’ve travelled a long way to see that.?

Meanwhile, Nigel Worthington said goalkeeper Greens error v Luton was a ‘freak’ and that the player can’t be held responsible for the defeat.

Norwich have an injury crisis on their hands, yesterday Worthington had 6 players out, 4 doubtful leaving just 11 fully fit outfield players. Because of this, the club are looking for loan players to fill the gaps. ?We are looking, the work is on-going. Two of the loan players we targeted last week played at the weekend and were outstanding so it doesn’t help the fact that we are trying to target the right people.?

Worthington is banking on Craig Fleming being fit for the weekends game v QPR after the player missed the woeful defeat to Luton with a heavy cold. Calum Davenport is suspended and Adam Drury is rated as “extremely doubtful?.
