Bayern Munich Turn Their Attention To Norwich’s Max Aarons

|

Norwich City’s chances of keeping all of their star players, their so called “Crown Jewels” namely, Ben Godfrey, Emi Buendia, Todd Cantwell and Max Aarons for the 2020/21 season continue to look less and less likely this morning with the news that Aarons is the subject of renewed interest from German and European Champions, Bayern Munich.

Aarons has managed to keep his composure, showing maturity beyond his years, over the last week after the Canaries received an offer for him from Barcelona. That maturity has impressed his head coach, Daniel Farke, who has played him in both league games since, citing him as an example of how to deal with such speculation when he spoke about leaving Todd Cantwell and Emi Buendia out of the squad for Bournemouth due to a dip in their training efforts this week, amid their own transfer speculation.

Bayern have lost out to Barca in the race for a new right back, with both clubs having identified both Aarons and Ajax’s Serginho Dest as first choice targets and Dest choosing Barcelona over Bayern.

As a result, according to The Mail, the German giants now look set to turn to Norwich City and Aarons. Having been denied a dream move to Catalunya, it would surely be very hard to turn down another offer for Max from another mega club, wouldn’t it?
