Could follow Greeno injury

With the Club now confirming that the groin injury Green suffered playing for England B, will probably need surgery, meaning months instead of weeks on the treatment table.

Physio Neal Reynolds said on the official web site:

‘He’s had his scans this morning which has showed quite a lot of damage in the area of the groin.

‘He will be out for a number of months. He almost definitely will not be fit for the start of the season.’

With just one year left on his contract, his best chance of a premiership switch would now seem to be the January window, if he has proved his fitness and recovered fully from the injury.
He would then have about 5 months left on his contract which leaves the club looking squarely at the prospect of a major asset leaving for a fraction of his value.
