David Marshall has been included in the Scotland squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Holland and Iceland.

George Burley’s side are currently second in Group 9, and face the Dutch in Amsterdam on 28th March, and third-placed Iceland at Hampden Park on 1st April.

Sunderland ‘keeper Craig Gordon has been included despite losing his place at the Stadium of Light, but speaking to the BBC Burley insisted nobody’s place in the team is guaranteed:

‘Everyone in the squad has a chance of playing, it’s as simple as that. We have three very good goalkeepers in the squad so I’m in a very fortunate position.’
