Leon McKenzie is seeing a London specialist today in the hopes of getting to the bottom of his continual ankle injury woes.
The Canaries striker hasn’t kicked a ball since damaging ankle ligaments in training preparations for the 2-0 victory v Plymouth. The player simply fell awkwardly and has been receiving treatment ever since. However, Worthington told the official site that McKenzie has complained of more pain and so further exploration is needed:
‘We will wait and see what the specialist says. It’s been painful for him the last week or so. We will see what happens.’
I’m not sure we have learnt any more from me using those quotes to be honest!
