Newcastle have completed the signing of Jacob Murphy from Norwich City, the club have announced
The fee, as ever, is described as “undisclosed” but widely reported as being in the region of £12.5m and there may also be some add-ons. If correct, that will make Jacob a record sale for the Canaries.
The 22 year old made 42 appearances for Norwich scoring 10 goals, all of which came in his breakthrough Championship season last year. He was also, along with twin brother Josh, an integral part of the City team that won the FA Youth Cup in 2013.
