Nelson Oliveira is set for a medical with Reading according to HITC Sport.
The Portuguese international has been linked with the Royals on and off for about two years but if this report is accurate then it looks like he’s finally going to move to the Madejski Stadium.
The 27-year-old has been totally frozen out this season after falling out with Norwich Head Coach, Daniel Farke on the opening day of last season when he celebrated furiously after scoring a late equaliser at Fulham.
In his first season at Norwich, he scored 15 goals in 32 appearances, leading to reports of double-figure bids from Swansea and Reading, which were supposedly knocked back.
His value will have dropped by not playing but he has an international pedigree and has proven himself at this level.
He’s rumoured to be one of the Canaries’ highest paid players and needs to move for everyone’s sake.
HITC aren’t saying whether this is a loan or a sale but either way, it’s positive news.
