Does City boss Glenn Roeder have an Iron in the fire?
According to today’s Sun newspaper Scunthorpe‘s Martin Paterson could be on his way after the club were linked with the 20-year old forward.
Reports on Sky Sports News suggested that Scunthorpe have already turned down an £850,000 bid from the Canaries.
The 5 foot 9 inch Northern Ireland international has hit 11 goals in 21 appearances so far this season, and despite only joining in the summer for £450,000 from Stoke City, the Iron could be prepared to sell early rather than risk a cut-price deal if they are relegated to League One.
