We recently ran a poll asking who you thought should be Player of the Season. With Hughton’s safety first approach to the game it was no surprise that a defender should come out on top, however few could argue with the winner.
Sebastien Bassong was the clear winner with 51% of the vote, followed by Robert Snodgrass (21%) and somewhat surprisingly Grant Holt (7%)/John Ruddy in joint third place.
It really is hard to remember a central defender that has been more of a success at the club in recent times, and Bassong is rapidly writing himself into Norwich City folklore.
