Norwich Make Approach For Liverpool Winger

|

The news that you’re waking up to, On this glorious Sunday morning, is that Norwich City have approached Liverpool about the availability of their young winger, Harry Wilson.

Wilson, 21, is another of those promising youngsters from the Reds’ academy that looks set for a top career and the link to Norwich comes from The Sun, as reported by the Pink ‘Un.

You may remember that City saw Wilson at close quarters last season while he was on loan at Hull.

He scored the Tigers’ first goal and provided an assist for the winning goal in that crazy 4-3 away defeat for the Canaries. You will remember that a first-half James Maddison hat-trick had put Norwich 1-3 up at halftime.

Anyway, this lad is a heck of a prospect and he scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists in 14 games in his second half of the season loan at Hull.

Having sold Josh Murphy and Marley Watkins in the last fortnight, Norwich could do with another wide player and The Sun reckon that City have already asked about Wilson’s availability. That’s despite Jurgen Klopp already saying that the lad will start pre-season with Liverpool.

This is an exciting player who would make a real difference to our squad, adding some pace and skills in the wide areas.

Fingers crossed.
