News of International call ups for Wes Hoolahan and Anthony Pilkington…
Giovanni Trappattoni has picked both Wes Hoolahan and Anthony Pilkington in his 28 man squad for the Republic Of Ireland’s upcoming matches against England, Georgia, Faroe Islands and Spain.
It seems that Trapattoni has finally seen the light with Wes and he is now a regular, it seems in the ROI squads.
Pilkington meanwhile has been picked in squads twice before but has had to withdraw through injury on each occasion.
Pilks will no doubt be eyeing a full debut against England at Wembley on May 29th.
Trapattoni was at Carrow Road on Sunday to watch both our boys and admitted afterwards that he was impressed.
Fingers crossed that they get some game time but being an Englishman, let’s hope they aren’t too effective!
