Wolves winger, Ben Marshall is set for a Norwich City medical at Colney today reports the Pink ‘Un.
Marshall, 27, has been heavily linked with both Norwich and Millwall in the last couple of weeks with the talk in various media outlets being that Millwall had made a club record bid of £1.25m for his services.
The versatile winger, I say versatile because he can also play at right back, was seemingly Lions boss, Neil Harris’ number one summer target after the lad spent the second half of last season on loan from Wolves at the Den.
He was instrumental in Millwall’s late playoff push with 3 goals and 5 assists in the 16 games of his loan, stats that clearly caught the eye of Stuart Webber and Daniel Farke.
The recent transfers of Josh Murphy and Marley Watkins have left the City squad a tad short of width but with Emi Buendia also in the house and Marshall about to join, the problem on the right side should soon be fixed.
Expect a confirmation in the next 24 hours or so.
