This is a new section to the site, in which fans can express their opinions about the goings on at the club.

‘After a poor season is being brought to a climax I feel the time is right to express my feelings about the current situation at the club. I’m one of the ?majority’ who have had enough of Mr.Worthington’s decisions and our team’s displays. To explain the reason for this all I can say is that I firmly believe Mr.Worthington’s day has come and gone at this club. Being promotion favourites, put into everyone’s minds that we would be straight back up into the promotion race. But the reality of us forgetting how to play football in this league and not being physically good enough to beat mediocre teams has been very hard to face. I can only point my finger at our manager, who bought poorly in the summer and then failed to add much to our squad In January. We didn’t prepare well enough for the season and now that’s been shown by our current league position. Now with all that said and done I still believe our team is good enough to be promotion candidates, but Mr.Worthington has made us look anything but that.

‘I’m not sure what is actually going on at the club at the moment behind closed doors but I’m sure we’re not doing something right. I think that the first person you need to look at is Mr.Worthington and all of his coaching staff. If Mr.Worthington did go I think his coaches would have to follow. In my opinion we need a full clear out and get a new fresh face at the helm. I know doing this will mean we will take a few years to rebuild but surely this is the best possibility. A new manager has a squad good enough to challenge in this league when it’s motivated. We have a youth system that is bringing through many young players which need to be given more of a look at. A new manager who reads this youth system will be ideal and he can use this to bring depth to his squad.

‘As far as protesting goes, I think that fans have finally had enough of not being told the situation with the manager and want to take matters into their own hands. All fans have the right to voice their opinions and I think that protests do no harm at all to the rest of the fans who are all entitled to their opinions too. There are many other ways fans could show their anger but the protests have been managed very well and will keep going on until something changes at the club. As we all know this club has the potential to be huge, with the backing and the local community. I think many fans are aiming too low and some to high, but a Premiership position should definitely be ours.’

Thanks to James Wright of Norwich for his letter. This section of the site is devoted to giving the fans a chance to have their say, if you’d like to see your letter here, e-mail ian@norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk with an appropriate letter.
